Mobile Application and Cloud Strategies - Crittercism Announces Partnership with Appcelerator

You may know Crittercism thanks to its Mobile Application Performance Management (APM) platform. Now, the company has announced it will be partnering with Appcelerator to better serve enterprises.

According to Fierce Mobile IT, the two companies will launch a combined mobile app development and app performance management platform that will serve enterprise mobile apps. The platform will give enterprises detailed information on crash data trends, easily identify the lines of code that cause performance problems and then record how a user got to the problem. The platform will serve apps operating on iOS and Android smartphones.

Accordingly, Appcelerator built out its platform last year through acquisitions and partnerships, and with this deal continues to drive towards greater application lifecycle management, and greater utility in that lifecycle in terms of time to market and problem resolution.

It’s a good partnership for Appcelerator as Crittercism’s capabilities can be leveraged for B2C and the growing pool of B2B mobile applications companies are looking at deploying, where performance optimization is important to ensure employee and partner engagement.”
